Gold Seal of Transparency

Candid is a nonprofit that provides information on other nonprofits. It signifies that a nonprofit has demonstrated a high level of transparency by sharing detailed information about its operations, including financial data, leadership, and programs. This seal is a way for nonprofits to showcase their commitment to openness and accountability to donors and funders.

Requires disclosure & goes beyond bronze and silver:

To earn the Gold Seal, a nonprofit must provide information about its financials, leadership, and programs, including an audited financial statement, recent year’s financials, and leadership demographics.

The Gold Seal builds upon the Bronze and Silver Seals of Transparency, requiring more in-depth disclosure.
